Hi,
I was looking for a plugin that would allow the users to download files using password protection, and sdm feels great for the job, the only problem is that I need to create the download posts automatically in the backend.
Searching through the documentation I cant seem to find any refferences to it.
Q: Is it possible to add files from PHP, if so how ?It doesn’t have anything to create downloads from PHP. You will need to custom code for that. We can potentially do a custom development job for you.
I just need some insight on the structure, cause I assume it is nothing more than a wp post, but i dont know any of the slugs and the underlying structure, is it possible that you can provide me with that ?
Yes, it uses WordPress’s Custom Post Type.
You can see the custom post type it is registering in the following file of the plugin:
sdm-post-type-and-taxonomy.php
Normally if something is easy to do, I will give my answer. In this case, I don’t know where to start to be honest. I would have to site down and spend a few hours to figure out a specific solution for this.
