Hi there.
I was wondering if there is a way to disable to download logs, but still show the download count?
I like keeping track of my most popular downloads. But I don’t like keeping the log information, and when I clear the logs it also removes the download count.
Do you have any solutions or workarounds?

The counting is done by logging the downloads. So if you don’t log the downloads, there is no record of what is being downloaded (and nothing to count).
Maybe you can keep the logging enabled, then individually disable capture of some information by using the following check-boxes in the settings menu of the plugin:
Do Not Capture IP Address
Do Not Capture User Agent
Do Not Capture Referrer URL
