Hi,

I can see that when using a password on downloads and clicking the download button without a password and or if the password is wrong I am taken to another page to see the error.

Ideally you don’t send the visitor to another page for a simple error. Do you have any plans to display errors under the password field and download buttons?

That requires adding JavaScript code (due to the way that particular functionality works) which adds the possibility of breakage after a future WordPress update. We prefer to keep things simple and functional.
