Download URL Link

I am trying to customize a download button, so need to use the URL link.

The link works on it’s own firstvisionemedia.com/CooperVision/DES_White_Paper/The_Increasing_Digital_Age.pdf, but when I add in the /?smd_process_download=1&download_id=9131 code, keep getting error messages on the link.

The link will be used for both email, and on custom landing page with custom download buttons. I’m sure I am missing something simple, but have tried various iterations of the code as directed, to no avail.

So for that same download item, if you click on the download now button, it downloads fine correct? It has an issue Only when you take the direct download link and try to use it? Are you using PHP dispatch option on this download item?

That is correct, download button works (but we can’t use the pre-formatted download button due to corp design guidelines), just the direct link does not work.

I don’t believe we are using a PHP dispatch option.

Basically, we can create the page and use a direct download link, but need to count the downloads.

I just tested the feature myself and it works fine. I can’t think of any reason why it is not working on your site.
