Hidden Downloads – Textlink

Hi,

I want to create a “normal” HTML Link instead of a Download-Button. In SDM that´s possible. Can I manage it with hidden Downloads (because of the redirection function)?

You should be able to just use the same “Direct Download Link” feature of the standard plugin and the hidden download addon will protect the location at the time of download.

So you should be able to use this feature as is:

It is true that this works as you described. However, the important thing for me is the redirection. Here it would need another link – code. Is it possible to set up a text link with forwarding?

A redirection can ONLY work on a button element (inside a form). HTML won’t allow you to set a redirection on a text link. That’s just not how the HTML of URL links work.
