Download Monitor & Manager Plugin
Simple Download Monitor & Manager for WordPress

I would like to delete data from the Simple Download Monitor from the Database Table. But I do not wish to delete all of it, which is what the Delete Plugin Data button allows you to do. Nor do I wish to delete the Plugin itself, which I think works great.
The database file has grown so large that I would like to delete about 75% of the data, say data for 2015-2017, and keep the data for the current year intact.
Is there an option for doing this?
Many thanks for your help.
Are you talking about the log entries? You can reset the log entries from the “Logs” menu of the plugin. We don’t have any option to reset from a particular date. It resets the log when you use it.
We have deleted the log entries for 2015-2017. I believe they were in the sdm_downloads table. But it seems they remain in the postmeta table. We would like to delete the data from all locations.
I have seen the “Reset Dog Entries” button in the Logs menu. What does that do exactly?
Thanks again for your help.
