I have searched the database for posts type sdm_downloads and found one that did not correspond to anything and was not seen in the download administration panel, I have deleted it in the database and now it is perfect again.
I had previously checked the database for the ghost entry, but it hadn’t occurred to me to search using sdm_downloads

Done, it did not work, but I think it is because the problem is not the plugin, but a phantom entry has been registered in downloads in the WordPress database.

They have already fixed the problem in PublishPress 2.0.6, now Simple Download Monitor works well along with that other plugin
The number discrepancy is at the top of the list of published downloads, there is no offset count set for any download

Could it be that an error was registered in the WordPress database?
A question, the download counter published in the WordPress administration panel gives me a number 123 and the total 124 as if there was a record of a phantom download, something must be done in the database or the plugin to match but not miss all published downloads? Thank you
Detected the plugin that causes the failure duplicating a draft and a published post, it is PublishPress, I´m using it only with the most basic thing that is the calendar and the statuses, maybe this last causes it. I will comment it to the developers.

Done, I have deactivate, delete and re-uploaded the last version of the plugin, updating it keeps giving the same error /public_html/wp-includes/rewrite.php on line 173
The other error of duplicating content seems to be separate and it also happens to me with another plugin from another author (Responsive Grid Gallery with Custom Links Pro), in both cases the behavior is identical but neither of the two plugins seem to be responsible, when WordPress does automatic post saving it creates a draft, when publishing it instead of changing draft to published it creates a new post, I am checking if it can be some other plugin that interferes or is it a thing of the latest version of WordPress.
I don’t know what can cause it.
